Getting Started with StaySafe

Step 1: Assign/Delete/Archive Licenses

You can Assign, Delete, Archive or Edit Licenses on your Hub. This is useful when Users join (or leave) your Organisation and, when you need to edit User Details in the Hub.

Step 2: Configure Email, SMS and Voice Notifications

StaySafe will send Notifications to Responders and Administrators' when a Lone Worker raises an Alert.

It is essential to configure these when setting up your Hub. Otherwise, you won't be notified when a Lone Worker triggers an alert.

Step 3: View Reports

StaySafe provides Reports to monitor how your Lone Workers use the app. You can see the number of Licences in use, how many Users are yet to accept their Invites, and how many Active Users you have.

You will also be able to view the number of Sessions per day, length of Sessions, number of Alerts, and Onboarding status within the Hub and run the reports into a CSV file.

Step 4: Edit Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs)

SOPs ensure whoever responds to Alarms follows the same process to the same high standard. Follow this guide to upload your SOPs to the StaySafe Hub.

Step 5: Configure Check-ins

Choose the Check-in interval that Lone Workers will follow when running a Session.

You can Change the Check-in interval, the amount of notice given before Check-in, or switch it off depending on your needs.

Check-in interval refers to the maximum amount of time between each Check-in before a Missed Check-in Alert is raised. The interval needs to be input in minutes, and can be between 5 minutes to a whole day (1,440 minutes).

The Notification Alert can be between 1 to 15 minutes. The Notification Alert serves as a Reminder for the Lone Workers to Check-in.

Step 6: Configure Audible Alerts for the StaySafe App

StaySafe will send Audible Alerts when a session is due to Expire, or when a Check-in is coming up. These help to reduce False Alarms and Missed Check-ins.

The Administrators can change the Alert sound and various Audible Alerts in the Hub.

Step 7: Send bulk SMS Messages to Users

If enabled, this feature allows you to send bulk SMS messages to your Users. This feature when you need to inform your Users to avoid certain areas where there might be a risk, such as extreme weather conditions, road traffic accidents, or a terrorist attack.
