Audible alerts are there to work with your user's phone notifications and remind them to check-in or end a session before the action is due, preventing false alarms.

These alerts will be triggered for the following events:

Depending on your role in the system, you will be able to do this for different segments of your users. If you are an Organisational Admin, you will be able to change settings for the whole organisation or a specific team. If you are a Team Admin, you will be able to change the team/s you administrate.

Audible Alerts

Once you get to the Features page, select 'Audible Alerts'. Here, you can centrally manage alerts, allow your users to override the organisation's settings and choose the sound to be played.

Configure from Hub

Selecting this option will mean that all users will have identical settings on their phone devices. This is recommended as a default to ensure that users are notified correctly when they first set up the app.

Allow user Override

Enabling this will let the user customise their audible alerts in the app. You can find out more about Adjusting audible alerts in the app here.

Override Device Volume

This feature is currently available only for Android devices. When enabled, it ensures that sound is played at maximum volume regardless of the current device volume settings.

For iOS device users, we recommend keeping the volume turned on to ensure that all alerts are heard clearly. Disabling the volume on iOS devices may prevent audible alerts from being heard, potentially leading to a failure to respond appropriately to alerts. This could inadvertently trigger a false alarm if no action is taken within the app.

Team Configuration

If you are looking at this from the Organisation's Features page, you will see if the various teams in your organisation have inherited the organisation's settings or overridden them.

Alert Sound Options

The different Alert sounds are useful in different situations. And if you allow User Override they can adjust this in the app, to fit their working environment.

Subtle

A subtle alert will emit a quieter sound from the app.

Intrusive

An intrusive alarm will be much louder to ensure your employees hear it.

Escalating

Escalating alerts will start quiet and rise in volume.

NOTE: Depending on the work environment of the Lone Worker, they can test and adjust these sound settings from within the app to ensure they both familiarise themselves with the tone and set it up to the most appropriate and suitable sound.
