Through the hub, we can see your device and see if it is moving. This means that if your phone is stationary for a period of time, we can notify your responders about it.

Once activated, if your phone does not move for a set period of time, between 5 and 15 minutes, then your phone will send an alert.

This is best used if you are about to do something that could potentially be dangerous, while you are working alone, such as walking back to the car, late at night or if you are working in a loft, and worried about falling through a ceiling. Even if you are unable to call for help, the alert will be set off after a short period of non-movement by your phone.

This feature may not be right for you if you are working at a desk, but if you are moving about or using your phone a lot, then non-movement of your device may be a useful way to determine if you need help.

Setting up Non-Movement Alerts

Go to Settings

Select the section named 'Settings' with a gear in the centre of your app's homepage.

Go to Non-Movement

Once on your Settings page, select Non-Movement

Toggle Non-movement detection on

Toggle the slider next to Non-movement detection so that it is to the right, and highlighted in orange.

You can then use the slide on screen to adjust how long a period of non-movement you wish before sending the alert. Your options are 5 minutes, 10 minutes and 15 minutes.

Halfway through this period, if your phone does not move, you will be notified, and again one minute before an alert. You can reset the period at any time, by shaking your phone, which will register as movement.
