This article will go through the various settings and features that you can configure on your StaySafe app

Some of these will be controlled via your organisation settings, so if you want to change them, you may have to ask your organisation admin.

List of configurations

You can customise the warning sounds that play when your session is about to end, or a check-in is due.

Some organisations don't allow individual users to change this setting. If you can't change this, you will need to ask to your organisation admin to give you permission.

You can set up Audible Alerts by going to the settings in your app.

We can monitor your device during a live session to see if you are moving. This means that if your phone is stationary for a set period of time, we can notify your responders about it. You can set up Non-Movement alerts in the settings of your app.

This is useful if you are about to undertake a potentially dangerous activity and wish for your responders to be notified if your phone does not move, indicating that you may have had a fall or injury.

While in session, the app can monitor the movement of your phone and request falls. This can be enabled for your users upon request and can be enabled by users within the app.

This is only available on Android devices.

Using this, you can trigger panic alerts inconspicuously, using your power button, without opening the app, or drawing attention to the fact that you have done so.

You can set up Discreet Panic in the settings of your app.

You can control how much battery life used by the app. You can do this by changing the frequency of location updates. You can adjust the battery usage in the app settings.

You can set notifications for when you arrive at or leave a selected area, which will allow us to notify you when you arrive, or when you leave a specific area. This can serve as a reminder to begin or end a session.

This feature requires more access to your location than we usually use, but this is only stored locally and remains entirely private.

You can set up external devices (V.BTTNs) that can trigger actions within the app.

Driving Mode ensures Users will not be disturbed by any notifications or alarms while they are driving. This can be enabled for your account upon our request and can be activated by users in the StaySafe App
