The V.BTTN is a wearable Bluetooth button that can be paired with your phone and can be used to trigger actions in the StaySafe app.
It will allow you to trigger actions in the app without needing to use your phone. The V.BTTN lets you discreetly check-in or signal for help at the touch of a button. It can also detect falls from height and send a man-down alert to your responder, even if you can't.
The V.BTTN is especially useful if, while working alone, you may not be able to use your phone. For example, if you are driving, or in fast-paced, social or industrial work environments where pushing a button is easier than accessing the app through your phone.
Getting Set Up
To avoid pairing the wrong button, configuration should be carried out away
from other V.BTTNs. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone, then open the app to connect.
Go to Settings
Select the section named 'Settings' with a gear in the centre of your app's homepage.
Go to Configure Buttons
Once on your Settings page, select Configure Buttons
Activate Pairing
Once on the page, press and hold the V.BTTN for 10 seconds, until you hear a beep followed by a flashing green light from the device.
The V.BTNN is now in pairing mode, and will flash green every 10 seconds until you connect it to your phone
Connect to Available Buttons
Now your V.BTTN is in pairing mode, it will show under Available Buttons in the app. Tap on Not Configured to connect the V.BTTN to your phone. |
