Inviting a User to StaySafe

Adding new Users to the system.

As an Admin within our system, you can invite new Users. There are several ways to do this, you can use the People tab, Insights page, or within a Team.

Only Team Admins and Organisation Admins can invite new users to the system.

You can only add new Users if you have licenses available. If you do not have any available licences, please contact us at support@staysafeapp.com, and we will add more for you.


What Information do we Need?

When inviting a User, we will need their Name, Phone Number, and Email Address. Once you have entered the details, please click Send Invite.

The User will then receive an Email to create their password and activate their account.

Email

Please make sure you are using a unique Email Address for this User. Email Addresses are used as a username and therefore cannot be duplicated on the system.

If a User has been previously registered and archived on our system, you will not be able to create a new account for them. Instead, get in touch with us at support@staysafeapp.com, and we will un-archive them for you.

Phone

You will need to enter the Phone Number with E.164 format with the leading '+' prefix. For example, if this is a UK number, you must enter it as "+447712345678".


People

Once you log in to the StaySafe Hub, you can select People on the left-hand sidebar as an Admin.

To invite the User, you will need to click the Invite a New Person button on the right-hand side, and you will be taken to the Registration Page.


Teams

Once you select a Team, go to People on the left-hand sidebar. Here, you will see all of the Users in the selected Team, broken down by User Role. If you want to invite a Lone Worker, go to the Lone Workers tab and then select Invite Lone Worker on the right-hand side of your page.

You can do the same for any Admin and Responder role. However, you cannot add a User with greater access than yourself. If you are a Team Admin, you cannot add an Organisation Admin or Organisation Responder.

Insights

NOTE: Only an Organisation Admin can use this method.

Another way to invite a User is via the Insights page. Head over to your Insights page and select Invite a User

Once clicked, you will need to enter the User's details to invite them and click save to send the invite.
