The StaySafe system allows you to give different access levels to different people. Most of your Users will only require access to the app. However, others will need to Administrate a Team or the whole Organisation. Others will need to Respond to and review Alerts and Sessions for a Team or the entire Organisation.

Our system allows you to tailor your User's access to your needs. This allows your Users to have multiple Roles within the system if needed, and to restrict access when necessary.

There are four types of Roles; Lone Workers are app Users and cannot access the StaySafe Hub. Admins, who can manage Users and access Insights. Reporters, who can access Insights for the Organisation, and Responders who can view Sessions and Respond to Alerts within the system,

Each role is designed to enable the User to carry out specific tasks. Users can have more than one Role and have the same position on multiple Teams. These can be managed from the User Profile page.

Lone Workers

The Lone Worker Role provides the User access to the StaySafe App, and allows them to run Sessions and trigger Alarms. A Lone Worker must be a member of a Team and can only be a member of one Team at a time.

To find out more information on how the app works, and how the app should be used, look at our App Help Center.

NOTE: If a User is not a Lone Worker, they will be told their details are incorrect when they try and log into the app.

Organisation Access

Organisation Admin

This is the highest level of access in the StaySafe Hub. It provids access to the entire Organisation, and allows the User to edit all People and Teams, and access Reports and Insights for the whole organisation. They can also set Organisational Response Procedures and Features and give them access to all Team level information.

This Role also gives access to the Map pages, showing Active Sessions, Alerts and access to the SMS broadcast feature for the whole Organisation.

As an Organisation Admin, you can edit, add, or remove any User in the system, no matter their access. Only another Organisation Admin (including yourself) can edit your profile and access it.

Organisation Reporter

This role gives access to all Reports and Insights for the Organisation. This allows the User to see the data on Usage, Alerts and Sessions for the Organisation. It also allows the User to see Insights on a Team level for each Team in the Organisation.

NOTE: This user cannot view historical sessions for individual Lone Workers. This is only available to Admins.

Team Access

Team Admin

The Team Admin role provides administrative access to a particular Team(s). It gives the User access to the following functionality for the Teams they manage:

  • Team Insights

  • People

  • Devices

  • Escalation Policies

  • Response Procedures

  • Features

A Team Admin can edit, add, or remove any User in their Team with the same or lower access level. They cannot edit Team Roles or move a User to a Team they do not manage.

NOTE: When a User has the Team Admin role for multiple Teams, they will have access to this functionality for each Team.

Team Responder

A Team Responder can view the Map page to see Lone Workers in an Active Session. They are also the Users who can be notified when a User triggers an Alert.

This role provides the user access to 2 main features:

Team Responders can receive notifications of Alerts triggered by Lone Workers via Email, SMS, and Phone Calls. This is managed through the Escalation Policy set up within a Team on the StaySafe Hub.

A Responder can have access to multiple Teams and will only be able to see the Users within the Teams they are a member of.

NOTE: Team Responders and Organisation Administrators are the only Users who can access the Map page.
