The V.BTTN is a wearable Bluetooth button that can be paired with your phone and can be used to trigger actions in the StaySafe app.

It will allow you to trigger actions in the app without needing to use your phone, and lets you discreetly check-in or signal for help at the touch of a button. As well as that, it can detect falls from height, and send a man-down alert to your responder even if you can't.

The V.BTTN is especially useful if, while working alone, you may not be able to use your phone. For example, if you are driving, or in fast-paced, social or industrial work environments where pushing a button is easier than accessing the app through your phone.

STEP 1: Connecting to your V.BTTN

The V.BTTN connects to your app via Bluetooth, this needs to be done through the StaySafe app, not your phone's Bluetooth settings. Find out how to set up your V. BTTN here.

STEP 2: Configuring your V.BTTN

When you connect your V.BTTN to your app it will automatically be configured so that:

  • a single tap will check-in

  • press and hold will trigger a panic alert

If you want to change these, enable fall detection, or adjust the LED or sound, you will need to configure your V.BTTN in StaySafe.
