Using the StaySafe app, you can set off a Panic Alert at any time, whether you are in a session, or not. You can do this in multiple ways.

Once you trigger a Panic Alert, your location will begin actively broadcasting from the app and your responder will be notified, either by email, text, or phone call.

Your responders will follow your organisation's escalation policies to find out the issue and get you need assistance if you need it. This means that they will try to contact you, usually a phone call. If they can’t reach you or if you are in need of assistance, they will send someone to help, or contact the emergency services.

Panic Button

The primary way to Panic is by pressing the ‘Panic’ button in the app. This is available at any time, while in a session or not.

This is only available on iOS devices. You will need to set up the shortcuts app before you can use this feature.

Once setup, you can use Siri shortcuts to Panic in a number of ways, including using voice active alerts, setting up a widget, or home button panic.

This is only available on Android devices, and you will need to set up Discreet Panic in your app, before this feature can be used.

Once setup, you can Panic without drawing attention to the fact that by pressing the power button between 4-6 times in a row.

You can set up a Duress PIN in your app, but it will not be automatically active, unless you set it up.

Once setup, every time you enter your PIN, you will have the option to enter your Safe PIN (to cancel an alert) or enter your Duress PIN, to inform your responder that you have had to cancel the alert under duress.

If somebody is telling you to cancel your Panic Alert but you do not feel safe, you can enter your Duress PIN. This will make it look like you have cancelled the alert and closed the app, while keeping the Panic Alert going in the background. This lets your responders know that you still require assistance and that you are under duress.

V.BTTN's are a wearable device that can be used to check-in, detect falls and raise Panic Alerts.

While using a V.BTTN, you can Panic by either clicking or holding, depending on your settings.
