A Lone Worker using the app can trigger Alerts in multiple ways. Once they do so, StaySafe will notify the Responders assigned in the Organisation Escalation Policies. When an Alert is activated, the responders named in the Escalation Policy will be notified that an Alert is active.

Once the Responders have been notified, they will need to follow their Organisation's Response Procedure to resolve the Alerts and, if required, get the Lone Worker the help they need.

Notifications

When a User triggers an Alert, the Admins and Responders named in the Escalation Policy will receive notifications via SMS, Email, or automated voice Calls. You can find out more about Responder Notifications here.

These notifications will inform you what Alert has been triggered, who triggered it, and when and where has this Alert was raised.

If you receive your Alerts via SMS or Email, it will also provide you with a link to the Individual Session in question. Otherwise, you will be able to access the Alert through the Map Page.

Session View

Once in the Individual Session View, you will see all the information relevant to the User and the ongoing Session.

You will be able to see their Personal Information, Contact Details, Location Data and any Events or Notes they have triggered or added. You can also access your Organisation's Response Procedure. This should instruct you on how you should respond to Alarms.

Here you can record any actions you have taken during an Alert. You should record all of your activities when you take them. This allows your colleagues to see what you are doing, and collaborate if needed on the Alarm.

Once you have followed your Organisation's Response Procedure and resolved the Alert, you can end the Alarm by selecting This session is resolved and pressing save. You will then be asked to confirm this decision, and the Alert will be marked as resolved.

NOTE: If the user ends the Alert on their device, the session will close.
