Our app is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, but to ensure optimal performance wherever you are, here are some essential tips and best practices we’ve compiled over the years:

Signal and Connectivity

  • Start Your Session with Good Signal: Always start your app session in areas with strong signal coverage. If you're entering a low or no signal area, check in before you enter. Consider leaving a detailed note for your responders and team admins to keep them informed.

  • Keep Your Phone Charged: No one likes a dead phone. Adjust your settings in Settings > Battery Life to keep your phone going as long as you need it. If you anticipate signal loss, extend your session timer beforehand to prevent a session expiry.

App Settings and Permissions

  • Set Permissions Correctly: Make sure our app has all the permissions it needs to keep you safe. Not sure how to set it up? Check out these links for Android and iOS.

  • Phone Battery Management: To ensure your device lasts through your activities, adjust your battery settings via Settings > Battery Life.

  • App in the Background: Keep our app running in the background when you're in session. Close other apps you don't need to save your battery.

Alerts and Updates

  • Hear Every Alert: Adjust your app’s alerts in Settings > Audible Alerts so you don’t miss out on check-ins or the end of a session.

  • Keep the App Up-to-Date: Regular updates are vital for security and functionality—keep your app up-to-date at all times.

  • Driving Mode On: Before you take off, make sure to switch on Driving Mode for a safer trip. Not sure how to do it? No worries! Check out our quick tutorial video right here and you’ll be set to go in no time.

Using the App Responsibly

  • Take Alarms Seriously: If your app sends an alarm, handle it—cancel it if it’s a mistake or pick up the call from your team or response partner if it's serious.

  • Cut Down on False Alarms: Turn off Fall Detection or Non-Movement alarms if they’re not needed. Keep up with your check-ins and listen out for those alerts.

  • Update Your Information: Changed your number or got a new name? Let your manager know! Keeping your info updated helps us help you better.

General Usage

  • Keep It Simple: Whether you’re out on a visit or away from the office, just use the app. It’s there to keep you safe!

  • Engage With the App: Our app works best when you really use it. So, make the most of it and stay safe out there!

  • We’re Not Big Brother, We Promise: Our app isn't here to spy on you! We're all about keeping you safe, not tracking every move you make. If you need to take a break, go for it! Feel free to end your session anytime you like and just start a new one when you’re ready to roll again. We're here to support your safety, not to watch over your shoulder.
