This article will provide a guide for which Permissions are necessary for the StaySafe app to work effectively.

The app will need to access your Location Data to be shared with the StaySafe Hub while running a Session or triggering an Alarm. This will help the Administrators to locate the Users in trouble and provide assistance quickly.

As well as the Location Data being turned on, the app needs the Notification settings to be turned on, so the app can send Reminders to check-in or end your session.

Setting Permissions

When you first login to your StaySafe app, it will automatically ask for Permissions to send Notifications, and access your Location Data, as shown below.

Click Allow While Using App for StaySafe to share your Location Data with the StaySafe Hub in case of an emergency.

Permissions should be given to both requests for the App to work correctly.

Checking your Permissions are Correct

You can find which Permissions have been granted by going into the Settings on the StaySafe App and selecting Permissions. If the access is shown as blocked, please allow access to the app.

If you wish to make any amends to the Permissions after your first login, you can go to your device's settings and locate the StaySafe app to make those changes.

Please make sure your StaySafe Permissions page matches the images below:
