This feature is generally only used by Organisations that employ a monitoring partner to deal with alerts. If you do not use a Monitoring Partner, we advise leaving this setting inactive.

The Two-Way Audio function is used to enable a phone call between the user (Lone Worker) and the dedicated number entered in the field. When used alongside an external monitoring centre, it can connect with an operator immediately.

NOTE: iOS devices cannot automatically make a call, so when the alert is triggered, the user will be asked if they wish to make a phone call. Accept this to enable two-way audio.

Depending on your role in the system, you will be able to do this for different segments of your users. If you are an Organisational Admin, you will be able to change settings for the whole organisation or a specific team. If you are a Team Admin, you will be able to change the team/s you administrate.

Two-Way Audio

Once you get to the Features page, select either 'Two-Way Audio for Android' or 'Two-Way Audio for iOS', depending on your users' devices. Here, you can enable this feature for your users and adjust the settings.

Enable Two-Way Audio

Maximum Attempts

This determines the number of times we will initiate the two-way audio connection (make a phone call) once an alert is activated.

Retry Interval in Seconds

This determines the time between attempts once activated.

Maximum Wait Time in Seconds

This determines how long the system will try to make the connection once the attempt has been made.

Phone Numbers

This will determine the numbers called when the attempt is made. This must be a valid E.164 format, a number up to fifteen digits in length starting with a '+'. The first digit cannot be a 0 since no country codes beginning with 0 for multiple phone numbers separate using a comma.

If you are using Two-Way Audio with a monitoring partner, you will need to enter in the correct number when setting it up

They are as follows:

Team Configuration

If you are looking at this from the Organisation's features page, you will see if the various teams in your organisation have inherited the organisation's settings or overridden them.
