We have designed the app to use minimal data. And we only access your data when you have a session running, have triggered an alert, or have set up Reminders in the app.

If you use the app every day of the month for 8 hours a day, the total data usage of the app will be about 50 MB a month. The average person uses 4.5GB of data per month, which is a small proportion of that usage.

Need to reduce the amount of data that the app is are using? You can do this by changing your battery settings to a less accurate setting, and reducing the frequency that we access and send your location data to your responders.
