We have introduced Single Sign-On (SSO) for customers using Microsoft Azure or Okta to help you access the system quicker, by removing the need to have a password.
If you come across an issue when using SSO, here are some easy steps to help solve the problem for you.
This is currently only available for StaySafe Hub users, but we will be introducing it into the app soon.
First Steps
Check your organisation has Single Sign-On enabled
The ability to login with SSO is not automatically enabled when your Organisation is created, but can be enabled upon request. If you are unsure, ask your Organisation Admin whether this has been enabled or reach out to us at support@staysafeapp.com.
Do you have permission to log into the StaySafe Hub?
Not all Users can log into the Hub. Only Team or Organisation Admins can use SSO on the Hub. If you are a Lone Worker with app access only, you won't be able to use SSO.
Is your account Activated
To log into the StaySafe Hub, you need to be registered, and have activated your account. This is done by accepting the invitation Email we send to you when you were first setup. If you have yet to accept this invitation, you won't be able to use SSO. Reach out to support if you need a new invitation.
Are you still having issues?
Check which account you are using
The Email Address on StaySafe needs to match the Email Address you are using for SSO. If you have more than one Azure/Okta login or use a personal login, check with your Administrator which Email you have registered with StaySafe.
Try a different web browser
If you're having problems in one web browser, and have a second web browser installed, try again in the second web browser.
Clear your cookies
Resetting your cookies will give us a chance to refresh the connection with your SSO, and will remove any lingering cookies that may be getting in the way. The process is different for each web browser. Search Google for the easiest way to do this for your web browser.
Speak with your IT team
If the above steps don't resolve your issue, please reach out to your IT department, as the issue is likely not with StaySafe but with your Azure/Okta account configuration.
