You can discreetly raise a Panic Alert by tapping the back of your phone, two to three times.

To enable this, you'll first need to have completed the steps in Setting up the Shortcuts App.

Navigate to Accessibility

From your Settings menu, locate and tap on 'Accessibility'.

Select Touch

From the Accessibility menu, locate and tap on 'Touch'.

Select Back Tap

Scroll to the bottom of the list and tap on ‘Back Tap’.

Choose Double/Triple Tap

Tap and select either ‘Double Tap’ or ‘Triple Tap’.

Our recommendation is to use ‘Triple Tap’ to reduce the risk of false alarms.

Select Panic

A list of options will present.

Locate and tap to select the Panic action from within the ‘Shortcuts' section of the list.

Confirm your selection by tapping 'Done’ at the top of the screen.

After completing these steps, you can set off a Panic Alert by tapping the back of your phone three times.

What's next?

Now you have configured your settings app, you can Add in a Home Screen Shortcut and Voice Activated Alerts, and Enable Floating Widgets.
