Step-by-Step Setup
Open the StaySafe app on your mobile device.
Tap Settings.
Tap Configure Buttons.
When prompted to choose a button type, select Flic.
5. Hold your Flic button down for at least 6 seconds. It will automatically appear in the app.
6. The button will show a Connected status once paired successfully.
Tip: Configure the button away from other Flic buttons to avoid pairing with the wrong device.
Configuring Button Actions
Once connected, tap the button in the app to open the Configure Flic screen. Each interaction can be assigned an action:

Single Click | Check-In | Check-In, Panic, No Action |
Double Click | No Action | Check-In, Panic, No Action |
Hold | Panic | Check-In, Panic, No Action |
Battery Level and Device Info
The Configure Flic screen also displays the current battery level of the connected button. Battery level will show as Normal under standard use. The CR2032 coin cell battery is user-replaceable.
Removing and Reconnecting a Button
To remove a button, tap Delete on the Configure Flic screen. To reconnect a button after deletion:
7. Hold the Flic button down for at least 6 seconds.
8. If the button does not appear automatically, tap Scan for Devices at the bottom of the Configure Buttons screen.
9. The button will reappear and can be configured again.
